Episode 2 has been released and it was fantastic to speak to Rhys Carter, one of the co-founders of Carter & George Practice about his approach to data in MSK performance management. Post graduation, Rhys’ clinical career took him straight into private physio practice followed by a spell working in Dubai. He then returned to the UK to commence his journey as a business owner and he is currently undertaking the Goldman Sachs 10,000 small business course, for high growth small and medium companies.
Led by Rhys, Carter & George has grown organically by opening new sites and through acquisitions, taking him to 5 sites and the sixth in the pipeline. Rhys and I were introduced in November 2022 and I was super impressed by his commercial approach and over this time we have had quite a few conversations and the topic that we quite regularly come back to is data. The episode was insightful for me to understand Rhys’ approach and the importance he puts on data to be able to make decisions as well as inform conversations with practitioners from both a clinical and commercial approach.

I hope you enjoy this episode and next month I’ll be joined by Dan Howells, elite performance coach, mentor and consultant. Dan and I will be specifically focusing on the topic of leadership and learning in high performance environments. This is an area I have a real interest in as I believe it plays such a pivotal role in growth and development, both individually and from an organisational performance perspective.
I would love to hear your feedback on this episode as the series develops and also topics you would love to hear discussed. Thank you in advance!
